St. Peter Parish sponsors a dinner for the community of North Ridgeville through Community Care. The dinner is provided on the last Wednesday of each month in the gym. It is served from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Our next meal is Wednesday, September 27, 2023.
Please join us for the St Julie & St Peter Men's Fellowship breakfast on Saturday September 16th @ 8:20 am. Breakfast will be served at St. Peter’s in the Gym. Open to men of any parish in the Diocese, come and enjoy a hearty, hot breakfast followed by a short video and discussion. We will end promptly at 9:45 am. Alex Kostritsa, our Music Director, would like to invite everyone to an inspiring evening of Christian music featuring singer, Ashley Nemeh, on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 6:00 PM in the St. Peter GYM. Admission is free with a free will offering.
Jesus tells us, “Whoever drinks the water I shall give will never thirst.” Come and quench your thirst at our Discovering Christ sessions beginning September 11th. Discovering Christ is a free seven-week series with a life-changing retreat. You will enjoy a delicious dinner and listen to an enlightening teaching. After, you will join others in exploring the meaning of life and the identity of Jesus Christ. Childcare is available. These sessions will be held at St. Julie’s. During this year of the Parish Eucharistic Revival, Fr. Bob has scheduled a book study about the Eucharist. In September we will study the book, This Is My Body: A Call to Eucharistic Revival, by Bishop Robert Barron. We will meet on Saturdays at 10:00a.m. in the Galilee Room at St. Peter's beginning September 9. Click here for all dates, more information and to register.
Brochures and cards containing a list of local Pregnancy Help and Family Assistance resources for women raising children are available at the back of church. Please feel free to take multiple copies for yourself and to share. This resource list is also available on St. Julie’s parish website (click here). We hope that the parish’s efforts, combined with the efforts of other parishes, will move us closer to the day when any mother in need knows where she can turn for help.
The Women’s Fellowship Breakfasts resume in the fall. Our next gathering to share our faith will be on September 9th at St. Peter’s from 8:30am until 10:00am. Join us for a delicious breakfast and to hear Fr. Johnpaul Cafiero, OFM speak on Spiritual Zumba – How to get your spiritual life fit. We loved when Fr. JP spoke last year.
