Are you interested in getting together with a group of women to explore your Catholic faith and how Scripture applies to your everyday life? We invite you to participate in Walking with Purpose! Women of all ages are welcome! Our study this year will be Opening Your Heart: The Starting Point, which is a foundational 22-week study designed for women who are new to Bible Study AND for those with Bible study experience. It's for everyone! Choose ONE session which best suits your schedule: · Wednesday evenings at St. Julie's, 6:30pm - 8:00pm (Begins Oct 1st) · Friday mornings at St. Peter’s, 10:00am – 11:30am (Begins Oct 3rd) The cost is $5 for this Opening Your Heart series plus the $45 Study Guide, totaling $50. Jesus tells us, “Whoever drinks the water I shall give will never thirst.” Come and quench your thirst at our Discovering Christ sessions beginning September 8th. Discovering Christ is a free seven-week series with a life-changing retreat. You will enjoy a delicious dinner and listen to an enlightening teaching. After, you will join others in exploring the meaning of life and the identity of Jesus Christ. Childcare is available. These sessions will be held at St. Julie’s. All Parents and PSR Students are cordially invited to the PSR Open House on Monday, August 25th at 6:30pm in St. Peter School. Come see your child's classroom, visit with the teacher and pick up the books for this year. Come and see!

Our next Community Outreach Meal will be held on Wednesday, August 27th in the Parish Gym. Doors open at 5:30pm and dinner is served from 6:00pm until 7:00pm. All are Welcomed!

Consider joining us for Mass on Labor Day, Monday, September 1st. Mass will be at St Julie Parish only (NO Mass at St. Peter) at 9:00am. What a great way to thank the Lord for blessing the work of our hands and giving us some extra time to rest from our labors.

Join Father Bob for a book study, “Searching for and Maintaining Peace” by internationally acclaimed retreat master and author Fr. Jacques Philippe. With all the agitation in the world and in our own hearts at times, this book will guide us in how to deal with those things that tend to make us lose our peace. This five week book discussion will begin on Wednesday, August 27 and the following Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00 PM in the St. Peter Galilee Room at the Parish Center. Fr. Bob Franco is leading a pilgrimage to Rome, Assisi, San Giovanni Rotundo (the monastery of St. Padre Pio) and other religious sites during the Holy Year 2025. The ten-day pilgrimage will be October 20-October 29, 2025. This will be a joyful time of encountering the Lord, perhaps traveling with old friends and making new friends. The next Women’s Fellowship Breakfast will be on September 13th, 2025 at St. Julie's from 8:30am until 10:00am. Join us for a delicious breakfast, to share our faith, and meet other women. Save the Date! Plans are in progress for the St. Julie/St. Peter 2nd annual “Walking with Moms in Need” fundraiser luncheon. Plan on joining us Saturday October 18, 2025 from 11:15 am-1:30 pm in St. Peter Gym. Cost will be $20. Reservation forms will be available in September. Please join us for the St Julie & St Peter Men's Fellowship breakfast on Saturday, September 20th @ 8:20 am. Breakfast will be served in St. Peter's Gym. Open to men of any parish in the Diocese, come and enjoy a hearty, hot breakfast followed by a short video and discussion. We will end promptly at 9:45 am. A mini food pantry, also known as a "Blessing Box," is a small structure where people can donate and collect basic necessities such as nonperishable food items, toiletries, and other essential items. It's a simple and accessible way for the community to support each other by providing for those in need. If you would like to donate, the Blessing Box is located next to the parish office.

Parent & Student Orientation for Confirmation: August 24th at 7:00pm in the School Gym. This meeting is for those in St. Peter’s Day School and PSR.

If you plan on having your child attend PSR this coming school year, please register them now. Grades K through 7 will register here: www.stpeternr.org/psr-registration. There will be a PSR Parent Meeting on August 18th at 7pm in the Gym, Open House on August 25th at 6:30pm, and the First Evening of PSR Classes will be Monday, September 8th.

The 2nd Graders will be preparing for their First Holy Communion. All those attending St. Peter School and PSR who are planning to celebrate this Sacrament must register at https://www.stpeternr.org/first-holycommunion-preparation. Please note that a copy of their Baptism Certificate, if baptized at a Church other than St. Peter’s, must also be provided.
