Are you interested in getting together with a group of women to explore your Catholic faith and how Scripture applies to your everyday life? We invite you to participate in Walking with Purpose! Women of all ages are welcome! Our study this year will be Opening Your Heart: The Starting Point, which is a foundational 22-week study designed for women who are new to Bible Study AND for those with Bible study experience. It's for everyone! Choose ONE session which best suits your schedule: · Wednesday evenings at St. Julie's, 6:30pm - 8:00pm (Begins Oct 1st) · Friday mornings at St. Peter’s, 10:00am – 11:30am (Begins Oct 3rd) The cost is $5 for this Opening Your Heart series plus the $45 Study Guide, totaling $50. Jesus tells us, “Whoever drinks the water I shall give will never thirst.” Come and quench your thirst at our Discovering Christ sessions beginning September 8th. Discovering Christ is a free seven-week series
with a life-changing retreat. You will enjoy a delicious dinner and listen to an enlightening teaching. After, you will join others in exploring the meaning of life and the identity of Jesus Christ. Childcare is

Join Father Bob for a book study, “Searching for and Maintaining Peace” by internationally acclaimed retreat master and author Fr. Jacques Philippe. With all the agitation in the world and in our own hearts at times, this book will guide us in how to deal with those things that tend to make us lose our peace. This five week book discussion will begin on Wednesday, August 27 and the following Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00 PM in the St. Peter Galilee Room at the Parish Center. Fr. Bob Franco is leading a pilgrimage to Rome, Assisi, San Giovanni Rotundo (the monastery of St. Padre Pio) and other religious sites during the Holy Year 2025. The ten-day pilgrimage will be October 20-October 29, 2025. This will be a joyful time of encountering the Lord, perhaps traveling with old friends and making new friends.

A mini food pantry, also known as a "Blessing Box," is a small structure where people can donate and collect basic necessities such as nonperishable food items, toiletries, and other essential items. It's a
simple and accessible way for the community to support each other by providing for those in need. If you would like to donate, the Blessing Box is located next to the parish office.

The 2nd Graders will be preparing for their First Holy Communion. All those attending St. Peter School and PSR who are planning to celebrate this Sacrament must register at https://www.stpeternr.org/first-holycommunion-preparation. Please note that a copy of their Baptism Certificate, if baptized at a Church other than St. Peter’s, must also be provided.
