Pentecost Novena

The Novena to the Holy Spirit, the very first novena, is prayed each of the 9 days prior to Pentecost.  The Blessed Virgin Mother, the Apostles and others gathered in prayer, awaiting the coming of the Spirit. (Acts 1:13-14).
