Confirmation Preparation

NOTE:  All 8th Graders of both St. Peter's and St. Julie's are to register below.

Candidates attending St. Peter School will be prepared during the school hours.  All others must attend one of the following classes:

• Sunday nights - 6:30 - 7:45pm at St. Julie's

• Monday nights - 6:30 - 7:45pm at St. Peter's

Please note that you can register for either session that suits your schedule, regardless of parish affiliation.  But there is no mixing throughout the year.

At St. Peter, youth will be confirmed in the 8th grade. The Sacrament of Confirmation is needed “for the completion of baptismal grace” (Catechism, 1285) and signifies the commitment of an individual to live out, in a permanent way, their Catholic faith. Confirmation is a release of the Holy Spirit in our lives and gives us the grace to live the Christian life as well as become witnesses to Christ in the world. Knowledge about the Catholic faith and the experience of living as a committed Catholic Christian is crucial. Both ingredients – understanding and experience – are necessary before one is admitted to reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation.

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated for both St. Julie and St. Peter 8th Graders on May 11, 2026 at St. Peter Church. 

Registrations are to be submitted using the below online form.  

In addition to the Registration form, the following is also needed:

• Baptismal Certificate if not Baptized at St. Peter's (for St. Peter parishioners) or at St. Julie's (for St. Julie parishioners).

• Fee of $70.00
