Parent & Student Orientation for Confirmation: August 24th at 7:00pm in the School Gym. This meeting is for those in St. Peter’s Day School and PSR.

Join Father Bob for a book study, “Searching for and Maintaining Peace” by internationally acclaimed retreat master and author Fr. Jacques Philippe. With all the agitation in the world and in our own hearts at times, this book will guide us in how to deal with those things that tend to make us lose our peace. This five week book discussion will begin on Wednesday, August 27 and the following Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00 PM in the St. Peter Galilee Room at the Parish Center. All Parents and PSR Students are cordially invited to the PSR Open House on Monday, August 25th at 6:30pm in St. Peter School. Come see your child's classroom, visit with the teacher and pick up the books for this year. Come and see!

Our next Community Outreach Meal will be held on Wednesday, August 27th in the Parish Gym. Doors open at 5:30pm and dinner is served from 6:00pm until 7:00pm. All are Welcomed!

There will be a PSR Parent Meeting on August 18th at 7pm in the Gym, Open House on August 25th at 6:30pm, and the First Evening of PSR Classes will be Monday, September 8th.

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults can help you if: You have questions about the Catholic Faith, Have thought about joining the Church, but are not sure how to do this, You want to brush up on your faith lessons since grade school, or your spouse wants to join the Church. The 2nd Graders will be preparing for their First Holy Communion. All those attending St. Peter School and PSR who are planning to celebrate this Sacrament must register at https://www.stpeternr.org/first-holycommunion-preparation. Please note that a copy of their Baptism Certificate, if baptized at a Church other than St. Peter’s, must also be provided.

If your 8th Grader attends St. Peter's day school or PSR, please register him for Confirmation by clicking here. Your child must be registered by July 31st. There is a mandatory Parent/Student orientation meeting on Sunday, August 24th at 7pm.

All Parents who have children registered for St. Peter's PSR are asked to attend this very important and informative Parent Meeting on Monday, August 18th at 7:00pm in the School Gym.

Our Blessed and humble Mother, Mary, was taken into heaven body and soul to be with our Savior Jesus Christ - let us celebrate and remember! Join us for the Vigil Mass on Thursday, August 14th at 7pm or Friday, August 15th at either 8:15am or 7pm. This is a Holy Day of Obligation for all Catholics.

Please join us for the St Julie & St Peter Men's Fellowship breakfast on Saturday, August 16th @ 8:20 am. Breakfast will be served at St. Julie's Church. Open to men of any parish in the Diocese, come and enjoy a hearty, hot breakfast followed by a short video and discussion. We will end promptly at 9:45 am. So we have an idea of how much food to prepare please RSVP by sending an email to sjspbreakfast@gmail.com by August 11th.

Join us on Sunday, August 3rd, as we gather together as a parish community for a picnic immediately following the noon mass in the gym. Come and enjoy food and fellowship. All are Welcome!

We will continue cleaning the church on Monday, August 4th beginning at 11am. If you are willing to lend a hand we should finish in 2 hours (or less!) We will continue subsequent Mondays to deep clean all areas of the church. Please bring your own bucket, gloves and rags. Whatever time you can offer is greatly appreciated! During this Jubilee Year of Hope, we are offering a pilgrimage to the Shrine of St. Ann’s, one of our diocese’s designated sacred sites. We will carpool from St. Peter’s on Wednesday, July 30th at 9:30am and return by 1:30pm. In addition to having some quiet time of prayer, we will hear a brief talk about St. Ann, attend Mass, pray the St. Joseph Novena and have confessions available. Please register HERE no later than July 27th if you are planning on attending.

TRUE NORTH VBS: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World. Join us July 28–August 1 | 6:00–8:30 PM at St. Julie Billiart Church. Kids in K–5th grade will: Sing, play, and pray; Explore Catholic faith & saint stories; Create wild science experiments; Enjoy tasty snacks; Discover “God Sightings” all around! 150th Jubilee Celebration: as a Parish family let us come together and pray for St Peter Parish. This time of Adoration before our Lord with include Worship Music by St. Peter’s Music Ministry. This will take place in the Church on Sunday, July 20th at 7:00pm.
